My wife and I recently engaged IH design for our new home renovation and our assigned ID was Sze which we are extremely happy with the whole renovation process and of cause the final product. A few outstanding reasons why we are highly recommending Sze from IH design. During our initial selection stage of ID, she is the only one out of the 7 other ID we shortlist that follows up promptly and tactfully. And when we eventually engaged her, she maintained her speed of reply and many a times due to our normal day working schedule, by the time when we ask her questions, it would be late night evening which she would still be very patient to assist us on our queries. And during the renovation process, almost every day she is at the unit checking and ensuring things are done correctly and updates us daily with photos too. Really appreciate such high attention and meticulous to the design details. As for the design of our place, it was a full tear and build up and she exceeded our expectations by delivering the handover by half a month earlier too! And despite being earlier, the 3rd party defect check company we engaged to check for defects rated the whole house 9.5/10. With only minor defects mention and 0 critical defects found! So for anyone who is looking to engage an ID, I would definitely recommend Sze from IH design !

8 months ago We've approached a few IDs before deciding on IH Design, and what made Mint and her team stand out is the practical ideas provided while still taking in account what we're going for (clean look, easy to maintain, spaciousness yet with enough storage). The team gave us good suggestions as well, like enclosing our second common room with our original Master, yet not compromising on privacy (eg. If one needs to work and the other is sleeping) when initially we wanted to just hack the wall to combine one common with our Master. For every suggestion given, they will consider your lifestyle habits and how functional the designs will be in the long run. Price wise, they are reasonable and renovation was delivered on time. The team manages their contractors well and you'll always be given updates without asking. 🙂 We've recommended a few friends and won't hesitate to recommend more!

Amazing experience with Sze and Mint from IH design!! As first time home owners in Singapore, we gave our home reno to IH design after considering quotes from 4-5 IDs. It was not like IH gave us the lowest quote. But what we liked was their enthusiasm and idea which was different from others. The quote was detailed and we had detailed session in their office for each and every point they quoted. They were no hidden charges during the reno journey but only very minor VO that too because we insisted. Not only that, in this journey, they helped us with very minute stuff like the planning of appliances which were out of their scope. Not even one day they were uncontactable. They were available anytime and any day. Posted us with updates. Clarified our smallest queries with much patience. They are so transparent and not even once we felt our decision was wrong. The house was handed over on time. We were really skeptical initially hearing all horror stories about renovation. But in their case , they handed over 5 days before the contract date. This is the 3rd month after handover. There were no major issues and even now they are always available for any queries or any minor repairs. My family and I had our home renovated by Mint and Kelvin, and we are very pleased with the design and the experience. Their consultative approach made the entire process smooth and stress-free. Mint’s attention to details ensured the design was practical (ie instead of something difficult to maintain subsequently) and soothing to the eye. Both Mint and Kelvin were very responsible, responsive, and easy to talk to throughout the project. We were overseas during the later part of the renovation and we still felt assured of the progress and the work delivered as the team kept us in the loop through photos and updates. We decided to engage Mint and her team as we felt very assured when we spoke and met and also we could feel the earnest in her. Previously, I’ve worked with other contractors and interior designer for other projects (Office & Home) but the whole working experience was very frustrating to say the least. Even though they were supposed to be the Project Manager for the renovation project, oftentimes I found myself having to step up and fill their shoes – else things will go haywire, or the project deadline will be extended indefinitely. Not forgetting to mention all the heart-stopping moments and all the precious time and money wasted… Thankfully, IH Design Lab was NOT one of them. Working with their Interior Designers, Mint and Sze was truly a refreshing experience – which was unlike any previous ones whom I’ve engaged previously. What sets IH Design Lab apart from the rest is that they are a systematic and well-organised Team with Professionalism as one of their core values. Having gone through several renovation projects myself and hearing different horror stories from my friends, I can safely say IH Design Lab is a REAL GEM in the highly congested renovation industry which is often plagued by many incidences of dodgy practices and unqualified individuals or companies with poor standards and bad service. Sze , Designer from IH Design left a deep impression in us from the first meeting. She did not try to entice us with offers or promotions to get us to sign a contract. Instead, she took much time and effort to get a thorough understanding of the current state of the property, gauge the project schedule and renovation timeline based on our requirements, and help us to better understand our renovation goals versus what is achievable due to existing HDB renovation guidelines and regulations. From the first meeting till the conclusion of the project, she has proven to be dedicated and fully committed. To accommodate our availability, she arranged for fewer but longer meetings to plan and confirm the renovation design and materials, which worked well for us. As a first time home owner renovating the house, I had the good luck of hiring Ms Mint of IH Design to take on the project. Due to some personal circumstances I had to delay the renovation even though Ms Mint had scheduled all the works. She was very understanding and accommodating. Under the recommendation of an old friend, we had engaged Sze as my ID to do up the renovation of my unit .From start till end she had consistently provided me with good advice on important issues such as the choice of material and layout planning etc.She also provode us with 3D drawings to help us to have better visualisation. She had paid multiple visits to the site in order to better understand the nuances and discuss the project in greater details with us. We also wish to praise the workers who were very nice and helpful to accommodate my requests. Now we stayed in the unit for a couple of months and am very pleased with the end product. Mint is a responsible and creative ID. She came up with the theme and concept for my HDB flat and the end product looks fantastic! The best part of my house is the terrazzo toilet floor tiles as it’s very unique and received alot of compliments from my family and friends.
